Condor Bluetooth Print - Print from your BlackBerry handheld as if you were printing from your personal computer

Condor Bluetooth Print makes it possible to truly print anywhere, as long as you have a Bluetooth-enabled BlackBerry handheld and -printer. Any email and common type document can be printed in the same layout as if you were using a desktop computer.


Intuitive interface

Condor Bluetooth Print is fully integrated in the BlackBerry interface on the handheld. All the options are just one click away. You can select what to print, to which printer and the number of copies, then issue the command and track the print job status – just like you can on your desktop computer.


Scalable and secure

When you issue the print command, the BlackBerry handheld will tell the server to convert the selected file or message to a specific Bluetooth-usable format for the selected printer. The created file is sent to the BlackBerry handheld and from there to the Bluetooth printer, which will print it in the same layout as if you were using a desktop computer. You don't need to install additional printer drivers since Condor Bluetooth Print uses existing infrastructure and printers. The data are securely transmitted over the BlackBerry network.


Print files from your enterprise file server

Condor Bluetooth Print can be conveniently integrated with Condor File Explorer to securely access and print documents and files from the enterprise file server.

Supported hardware

  • Any Bluetooth-enabled BlackBerry handheld, like the 7100, 7250, 7290, 7520, 8100 and 8700 series™.
  • Any Bluetooth-enabled printer or printer that can be made Bluetooth-enabled with a small Bluetooth adapter (via USB or LPT).

System requirements

  • BlackBerry Enterprise Server™ v4.0 or higher with MDS initialized
  • BlackBerry handhelds with software version 3.8 or later
  • Microsoft Windows 2000 service pack 4 or higher
  • A server with an Intel Pentium III processor or compatible
  • 512 MB RAM, 1 GB disk space, 10 Mbps LAN connection
  • Microsoft .NET Framework version 1.1 Redistributable only
  • A database server (MSDE, SQL 7.0 or SQL 2000). The same database used by the BlackBerry Enterprise Server may be utilized

For up to 50 users, Condor Bluetooth Print can be installed on the same server as the BlackBerry Enterprise Server.
