Condor Print to Network – Integrate the BlackBerry handheld with your print environment

Condor Print to Network makes it possible to print emails and documents from your BlackBerry handheld to any printer in your enterprise network. You can roam the corporate campus or even be on remote corporate office locations and print from your BlackBerry handheld those documents that are otherwise hard to read. Any common document format can be printed in the same layout as if you were using a desktop.


Intuitive interface

Condor Print to Network is fully integrated in the BlackBerry interface on the handheld. All the options are just one click away. In a simple menu you can select what to print, to what printer, the number of copies and track the print job status – just like you can on your desktop. With a few clicks your document is rolling out of the selected printer.


Easy to deploy

Condor Print to Network makes use of the Active Directory so the existing user printing rights are default. It is easy to deploy since user groups and user rights are maintained. Loading additional printer drivers is unnecessary. With the Condor Application Server the administrator can control user access rights.


Print files from the enterprise file server

Condor Print to Network can be conveniently integrated with Condor File Explorer to securely access and print documents and files from your enterprise file server.

Scalable

Condor Print to Network is the only application for network printing from the BlackBerry handheld that does not constantly poll a specific mailbox via MAPI. This is critical to keep the performance of the Exchange mail server at its existing level. Condor Print to Network identifies specific mail messages and makes one MAPI call per print request. This relatively minor impact makes it the best BlackBerry network printing application for large enterprises in particular.


System requirements

  • BlackBerry Enterprise Server™ v4.0 or higher
  • BlackBerry handhelds with software version 3.8 or later
  • Microsoft Windows 2000 SP4 or higher
  • Microsoft .NET Framework version 1.1

For up to 50 users, Condor Print to Network can be installed on the same server as the BlackBerry Enterprise Server.
