E-Plus and GPXS bring Enterprise BlackBerry to SMEs

E-Plus and GPXS extend their strategic partnership by providing BlackBerry service for SMEs in Germany

GPXS™ and E-Plus today announced a strategic agreement in which GPXS will bring Enterprise BlackBerry, via its Colibri Premium service, to E-Plus SME customers. Colibri Premium provides SMEs with enterprise-level quality of service for their BlackBerry handhelds, without the capital equipment and maintenance costs of installing a BlackBerry Enterprise Server™.

GPXS Colibri Premium allows SMEs to benefit from instant sending and receiving of email and two-way synchronization of email, address book and calendar between BlackBerry handhelds and the Microsoft Exchange mailbox that is delivered by the BlackBerry Enterprise Server, without the need to install the server. GPXS provides the BlackBerry Enterprise Server and application infrastructure so the SME makes no investment in IT equipment or management expertise. The service is suitable for 5 to 30 users and is available to E-Plus customers via a dedicated GPXS/E-Plus online portal that provides instant activation. It is offered at a flat monthly rate of €24,95.

“We are very pleased to extend our strategic relationship with E-Plus,” said Jerome H. Mol, CEO of GPXS. “GPXS Colibri Premium provides E-Plus SMEs with the same BlackBerry productivity enhancements large enterprises enjoy, without the headaches of building out the infrastructure. We are sure E-Plus customers will welcome the ability to have real-time mobile offices.”

“E-Plus has long experience in working with BlackBerry solutions,” said Thorsten Dirks, Chief Operating Officer of E-Plus. “The advanced BlackBerry service that GPXS Colibri Premium delivers provides our SME customers with first-class services at a low-cost, which precisely fill their needs.”
